I have been busy working on a new project that is made with silk fabric from vintage kimonos. This image shows is the current status and I am happy to report that it is almost finished. I only have a bit more stitching to do. In the beginning this [...] I have quite a few mini art pieces just waiting to be shared. I am not sure they are complete. A few hand stitches are likely to be added. Sizes are under 4×5″.

I found the most fabulous hand dyed embroidery floss on EBAY. Nancy has a huge selection of colors and gives excellent fast service. This is my first order and I will definitely order [...] As 2009 comes to an end I must admit I am happy to wrap up this year and start fresh in 2010. First, won’t it be much easier to say “twenty-ten” instead of “two thousand nine”?
