Yeah, what a problem! I will be posting about the storage and solutions others have suggested. I think we all can use ideas on storage.

Debbie, what a beautiful place--the PNW is one of my all-time favorite places! What a wonderful problem to have--a chance to organize and plan your new studio. I think your first two idea are great, especially storage underneath tables. I'll be eager to watch your progress.

Thanks! We are military too. 27 years in the Navy. But, this move was our choice, finally! My husband told me to pick where I wanted to live and let me choose the house, he did not see it before we made the offer. Great experience! Yes, digging was challenging, but worth it. Found a lot of other stuff along the way.

Debbie, this studio is to die for and the possibilities are endless. It is so wonderful to have windows on all sides, but I can imagine it being a design challenge for your storage. I am looking forward to seeing what you finally decide. What a great space to create your art!! You home is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

A great heart team in Tallahassee in the '80's prescribed handwork for their patients -mainly knitting and needlepoint - as the repetitious motions of the hands are soothing and calming to the heart. Quite therapeutic. I had men in my classes, and they loved it! I find it helps me focus when my thoughts are flying off in all directions.
