Well, I experienced an abrupt end this week. The artists collaborative 10-4-10 that I set up dissolved.
Timing is everything
That is one of my favorite sayings…..and boy does it apply to this experience!
It was a great opportunity and concept and still is.
The link to the site is still active; however, this will take you to a single page where you will see my single piece.
So for now…..I have a solo act; and that is fitting.
1-4-1
Stay tuned, re organization may be on the horizon. Until then I plan to enjoy the freedom and will spend time relishing in it…where else? I my studio of course! Sounds good to me.
Second in my collection of 10″ pieces

Passion Tree 10" x 10"

Hi, Debbie. Just had to comment on your passion tree. I think it’s really a challenge to make a highly successful very small piece (12″ x 12″ or less) and few do it really well, but “Passion Tree” is fabulous. Its elements are well proportioned for its size, there’s good balance, the quilting really adds to the work, and there is enough going on to intrigue me but not so much that it’s overwhelming. Can’t wait to see more!
Thanks Cindi! I often wish I could enlarge some compositions. Passion Tree is a favorite of mine. Maybe that is why it comes across well.
Hi Debbie, I love your passion tree. I love the unexpected colors of the tree barks and the jewel tone colors that make it brighter and lively. The quilting and fibers (?) or fabric manipulations are just fantastic. Smiles, Diana
